School is going pretty goood. Taking elementary Chinese, NI HAO MA!
Not much to say... not much time for drawing anymore, but maybe I'll go back to my silly comics one day.
The semester is already getting old though... I wish I could put myself on autopilot and sort of fast forward until December. xD
I'm looking to study abroad Fall '09 though, wishful thinking, but we'll see what happens.

OKAY, first of all lemme apologize for not commenting on people's stuff... I, er, just haven't been on and don't feel like looking at 200 deviations. Sorry.

Anyway, as far as art goes, I'm starting to want to draw again, but right now I'm keeping it simple. Just working on silly comics that makes me laugh just 'cause I enjoy it. I could care less if they're spectacular...
Some of the ideas are from an online friend I know from the Koei Warriors forum. It's a lot of fun coming up with ideas.

I finally satisfied my inner Dynasty Warriors fangirl by playing the 6th installment over the holiday weekend back home.
I personally like the new combat system very much, and Sima Yi's extendable wire/claws are sooo much fun, his grapple attacks are so wicked! I actually had so much fun I beat his musou mode three times (easy, normal, hard) and barely used anyone else, haha.
Best of all he has a sexy new voice!!

*cough*

Well after getting my grades in for 1st semester at UNCG... I've decided I don't wanna pursue art as a career. My Fundamentals of Drawings class was a living hell... which I'm glad it was because it made me realize how little drive I have to do art.
I think I'm going to declare myself as an Anthropology major. I'm taking cultural anthropology this semester and I really enjoy it. Plus, different cultures and people have always fascinated me. Not sure what I'll do with such a degree... but I have a better chance finding a job as an anthropologist than as an artist most likely... >_>

Anyway, yeah, I've been ATTEMPTING to do digital art on Gimp lately, but I think I'm gonna start focusing on my pencil skills again. I don't want to lose my good eye for replicating pictures...
Even though I do enjoy experimenting with new styles of art... I'm really only decent at realism and replicating images, so I feel I need to take some time to improve in that area... besides I miss drawing Boba Fett, it's been so long. I will probably be posting so Firefly and Battlestar Galactica Fan art too.

As for the forum I started with some friends of mine... eh... it's going alright. We have 42 members but less than 10 are active. Would appreciate new exciting members or those of you to that did sign up to maybe return?? T____T

Some friends and I have started up a GAMING FORUM. The main discussions are about KINGDOM HEARTS & FINAL FANTASY Games. There's also a Role Play section if you're into that sort of things as well!
Other discussions include KOEI games, Resident Evil series, and Lucas Arts (STAR WARS!). So, it's not limited to solely Square-Enix games.

So please, take a look. We've worked really hard on this. I personally have designed the banner and other graphics for the site on GIMP.

We don't have much activity yet (only 9 members), but once we get more cool people like YOU, I know it will be an exciting place for gamers to discuss their favorite games!

Hello, 'tis me, not so crazy insane Jess.

Life is okay here at UNCG. I'm doing fairly well in my classes (Xcept Philosophy...). All in all, college life isn't that thrilling, but I enjoy the independence.
Had a decent Halloween... had fun, but didn't do anything worth mentioning. OMG, I won a contest on Koei Warriors, a Koei games fansite! OK, scroll down on this website: koeiwarriors.simgames.net/ until you get to the "Halloween's Giveaway Winners." (The contest was to write about which Koei character you'd go trick-or-treating to) See Manji_Ninja? Well, that's me, with the most RIDICULOUS story that I wrote at 1 am... LOL, it's so embarrassing, but just for fun. Yeah, so... I won three KOEI postcards, hell yes! XD
What else? As of now I'm anticipating the Greensboro ZOMBIE WALK on the 17th and also my first Renaissance Fair on the 18th! YAY! Also Thanksgiving Break... mmm, turkey and mashed potatoes...

I'm working on teaching myself how to ink & color (properly) on Photoshop, I've been working on a drawing of Dynasty Warriors 6 Sima Yi to try all that out, haven't made much progress, so expect that I like 6 months.

What else? I'm still single and frustrated... and sick of being single. I must be attracted to the wrong type of men, 'cause nothing works out how I want it to relationship wise. The guys who like me are the guys I SHOULD like, but I NEVER do... *sigh* I'm helpless.
